speak Cantonese, you can. Lucky for you,
this language is not as difficult as you might
think. Sure, there are many characters
one has to memorize in order to read write,
but all that comes with time. As the
Chinese say, "A thousand mile journey
begins with one step."

There are countless resources, both on and offline that teach Mandarin, the official dialect of Mainland China and Taiwan, but there is another dialect with equal importance.

Cantonese is spoken by the people of Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong Province of Mainland China, and many overseas Chinese communities such as those in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Hong Kong and Macau are major business and entertainment centers of the Chinese-speaking world, but there are few resources that teach Cantonese to foreign speakers.

Well, I am here to solve that problem and offer you a comprehensive guide to the Cantonese language that is simple to use and easy to understand. My goal is to make Cantonese (and Chinese in general) less of a frightening endeavor than it seems. I am excited to show you that even a language as foreign as Chinese is learnable, and you will be amazed with yourself, not to mention all the Chinese people who will marvel at your incredible skill!
